Harmonica Films produces film and TV-series in close collaboration with ambitious and highly skilled creators, where the story is always the center of attention. We strive to reach a wide audience, but never at the expense of quality. Our approach is rooted in strong storytelling, creative integrity, and a collaborative process where ideas are challenged, refined, and elevated, with the goal to bring distinctive and engaging stories to life.

We develop projects across a wide range of genres and formats, resulting in a versatile and dynamic slate that resonates both locally and internationally. These projects and collaborations have helped establish our position as a renowned production company in the Nordic film and TV industry. Our partners include among others TV4, ZDF, Dynamic Television, Sky Showtime, SF Studios, and regional film funds such as Film Stockholm, Filmpool Nord, and Film i Väst.

Harmonica Films was founded by screenwriters and producers Per Janérus, Björn Carlström and Stefan Thunberg in early 2010s. An early focus was to build on the success of the feature film The Hunters (Jägarna, 1996), and to further develop its universe. This led to the successful sequel False Trail (Jägarna 2, 2011) and two seasons of the acclaimed series The Hunters (Jägarna, 2018 and 2021). In 2024, the series End of Summer (Slutet av sommaren) premiered on SkyShowtime to strong critical acclaim, further strengthening Harmonica´s international presence. In 2026, the company is set to release the drama thriller Till Death Do Us Part (Tills döden skiljer oss), premiering on TV4 in July.

Today, Harmonica Films continues to develop a number of feature films and series, driven by a passion for storytelling and a commitment to every stage of the creative process.
